Steve was born in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
He grew up in Franklin, MN, where he graduated high school.
In 1972 he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fulda, Germany, where he met the love of his live, Silvia. They were married in 1975.
In December of 1975, they moved to Franklin, MN. Steve went to school for computer repair and worked in that field until his retirement.
In 1985, they moved to Colorado Springs, CO and in 1988 to Aberdeen, SD.
In 1990, they welcomed their daughter, Kirstie, into this world. She was joined by her brother, Tony, in 1992. Steve was a wonderful and involved father. He spent many hours at Kirstie's swim meets, Tony's Special Olympics competitions, and many school concerts.
Steve loved to fish and spent many happy hours at their lake cabin in Minnesota. He was also an avid MN Vikings fan and never missed a game on TV.
Besides fixing computers, he also loved to work on all other electronics.
Steve is survived by his wife, Silvia, son, Tony, daughter, Cathy, brother, Tom (Gail), sister, Jan Serbus (Pat), sister Mindy Zachow (Leroy), brother-in-law, Edgar (Ursula), brother-in-law Norbert (Annette), sister-in-law, Doris Georgiadis, and many nieces, nephews and their children.
Preceding Steve in death were his daughter, Kirstie, his sister, Judy Julius and her children, Jeremiah and Charlie, his brother-in-law, Gottfried Neumann, his nephew, Thomas Georgiadis, and his parents.
