Steven R. Albert, age 64 of Janesville, passed away at Mercy Hospital on July 10, 2025. He was born in Monroe, Wis., on November 24, 1960, the son of Rex and Dorothy (Helmeid) Albert. He graduated from Janesville Parker High School in 1979. Steven was employed by General Motors for 25 years. He will be remembered for his great love for his family.
Steven is survived by his brother, Randy (Jan) Albert; his sister, Patti Stevens; two nieces, Brittany (Brad) Rinehart and Rebecca (Jesse) Robinson; two great-nephews, Alex and Gabe Robinson; his long-time girlfriend, Jo Barrow and her daughters, Brynn and Ellery Barrow. Steve’s parents preceded him in death.
Per Steven’s request, no services will be held. Private interment will be by his parents in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, Wis.
