Steven Bailey Obituary

Steve accepted Christ at an early age in Chicago Illinois.
He served in the U.S. Army, during the Vietnam era. He worked at White Motor, Mt. Sinan Hospital, and E.F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home. Steve was a "rehab" home entrepreneur, who brought old properties to life. He loved working in old, neglected homes and prided himself on the results.
God blessed the union of Steve and Annette on May 28, 1974. This union brought forth two beautiful children, Steven, Jr, and Evelyn. He instilled in his children the determination to follow their dreams and honor God in their lives.
His life was filled with good work ethics, long conversations with people, and laughter. He loved "styling and profiling" in outfits that were coordinated from head to toe. He did express that he was a model "back-in-the-day".
Steve was preceded in death by his parents and best friend Johnny. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Annette, son Steven, daughter Evelyn, sister-law Evelyn, grandchildren Brianna, Abigail (Toya) nieces Sheila, and Annette, nephew Artis, grandnephew James, Darrion cousins Henry Pearl, and Jane, grand pups Sheeba and Oreal and a host of cousins and friends.
