Steven Bounds Obituary

Steve was born in Fruita, Colorado, the last of six children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Sue Bounds, and his son, Jason. Steve is survived by his wife, Virginia Wagner, his daughter Suzanne (Dane) Startup, his sons, Joey Bounds, Christopher (Raven) Bounds, Mikey Bounds, and three grandchildren, and five siblings: Bonnie Clark, Joe (Mavis) Bounds, Michael (Brenda) Bounds, LaGayle (Bob) Atwell, and Audie (Kim) Bounds, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Steve sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2014 that significantly impacted his quality of life. However, he continued to enjoy fishing, walking, and exploring the mountains looking for unique rocks and unusual driftwood.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 08, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Palisade Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gospel Ministries, located at 1622 Glenwood Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501.
