Brian Bounds Obituary
April 14, 1965 - May 31, 2025
FAIRBURY - Brian Thomas Bounds, 60, Fairbury, IL, passed away at 7:28 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
The family will have a private gathering at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury on Saturday, June 7, 2025. A public Celebration of Life will be held 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Emancipation Brewing Company, 13113 North 2500 East Road, Fairbury, IL 61739. The family suggests memorials be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
Brian was born on April 14, 1965, in Fairbury, IL, the son of Thomas L. and Jane Rieger Bounds. He married Rebecca Weber on August 3, 1991. She survives in Fairbury.
Other survivors include his children, Trent (Kylie) Bound, of Fairbury, Addison (Chloe) Bounds of Denver, CO, Maddie Bounds of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Trip, Vivienne, Beau and Callahan Bounds; parents, Thomas and Jane Bounds; one brother, Clint (Tanya) Bounds of Bloomington, IL; and one sister, Jennifer (David) Komor of St. Louis, MO.
Brian was a 1983 graduate of Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School and a 1987 graduate of the University of Illinois receiving his bachelor degree in Agriculture Economics. Brian was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with his close friends and his boys. He loved spending a day by the pool with his family, preferably floating with a Hefeweizen in hand.
Brian was a fifth generation farmer. He started his farming career in 1991 as a District Sales Manager for Agrigold Seed and part-time on his family farm. In 1996, Brian began farming full-time with his father, Tom.

Tom and Jane we are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved son. This is not the way we parents believe it will be, is it? We just have to hold on to the wonderful time we were given with them and the joy they brought to our lives over those years. We pray that God give you and your family members a PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING until that time we will be united with our Lord and Saviour in the Presence of our Father God ALMIGHTY. Love you two.
