Steven Califano

It's hard to put into words just how much Steven meant to us. His passion for cooking made every gathering special, whether he was in the kitchen creating something amazing or outside at the grill, making sure everyone had a full plate and a smile on their face.
When he wasn't cooking, you could find him out on the golf course, fishing and crabbing by the water, tending to his garden, or tossing bags in a friendly (but always competitive) game of cornhole. He nurtured his plants and shared his homegrown vegetables with loved ones. Steve was great at quoting lines from old movies. He was also generous and thoughtful.
Cancer may have taken him from us too soon, but it will never take the memories, the laughter, or the love he shared with all of us.
A perfect example of who Steven was happened in his final days. When his nephew was visiting Steve in hospice, Steven said to Paul: "I wish I had more time to spend with you.
Steve's last wish was to donate his beautiful blue eyes.
Steven, you will always be missed, but never forgotten.
