Steven A. Calloway

Steven A. Calloway, 62, of Bridgeton passed away on Friday, November 7th 2025 following injuries sustained in an accident.
Born on June 21, 1963 to the late John Calloway and the late Gertrude McMiller Calloway, he had been a resident of Bridgeton all of his life and had attended the Bridgeton School System.
Steven had participated in the Special Olympics through the Eve Off Center in Vineland where he graduated from the Eve Off Program. He loved hanging out with his friends at his special place! Steven also enjoyed mowing lawns, working on lawn mowers and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He continued to help people even after his passing as an organ donor. He loved dancing like our father. Steven always lovingly referred to his nieces as "heffer" and saying "I love you". He missed his twin, John aka "Peter" or "Fonz". Most of all, Steven loved life.
He was preceded in death by; his father, John Calloway; his mother, Gertrude McMiller Calloway; his grandparents, Mary Curry, Mary Green, Willie James McMiller and Cab Calloway; his sister, Zelda Ouma and his brothers, John "Peter" Calloway, Jerry Calloway and Gregory Calloway.
He leaves to to cherish his memory; his sisters; Amanda Wilmore of Bridgeton, Kimberly Calloway (Ed Lee Stubbs) of Bridgeton, Tyra Richie of Philadelphia and Lavern Jackson of Vineland; sister-in-law, Shirlita Calloway; his brother, Darryl Calloway(Pat) of Vineland; his aunt, Ruth McMiller of Pittsburgh, PA, his uncle, Edward Curry of Bridgeton; his best friends, Carl Grace and Rickie Strickland and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, November 22nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
