Steven Wesley Chandler, age 82, Osawatomie, Kansas passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on June 25, 1943 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho the son of Archie and Margaret Granberg Chandler. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. Steve was united in marriage to Janet Biggers in 1991. He worked as a firefighter for the Milwaukee Fire Department. He was a collector of model cars and enjoyed wood working and gardening. In earlier days Steve and Janet enjoyed traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Linda Hanley. Steve is survived by his wife, Janet Chandler, children, James Chandler(Jen), and Elizabeth Swaney, step children, Jon Graske, Al Graske, Mark Miller, Lynn Stoner, and Beth Miller, two brothers, Donald Chandler, and Orland Chandler, numerous grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Goodhue, Minnesota.
