Steven E. Corbett

Steven E. Corbett, of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died on January 19, 2026. Beloved son of the late Eugene & Mary (Hill) Corbett. Loving father of Sgt. First Class James E. Corbett, US Army. and his wife Laura of El Paso, Texas. Beloved Grandpa Steve to David and Ginerva Corbett of El Paso, Texas. Beloved brother of Christine Cameron and her husband John of West Roxbury, Patricia Gifford and her husband Alan of Natick and the late Eugene and Paul Corbett. Loving Uncle to Elizabeth, Jack, Katharine, Christine and Kimberly and the late EJ Corbett. Also survived by the spouses of the nieces and nephews as well as many Great Nieces and Great Nephews. He worked many years at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain, retiring with over 3000 hours of unused sick time which shows great credit to his work ethic. Volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Program where he delivered meals to the less fortunate. his family wishes to thank the team at the Brigham & Women's Hospital, 14th floor, for their tremendous care to make sure he was comfortable in his last days.
