Steven Robert Cortright, age 61, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on August 14, 2025. He was born August 4, 1964, in Merrill, Wisconsin, to Robert Cortright and Theresa Lombardi.

Steven proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. A hard worker throughout his life, he spent many years working his own business, Cortright Painting before spending the remaining years working for Geels Painting. He took pride in his work and carried that dedication into everything he did.

Family was the heart of Steven's life. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, relaxing at home, and watching television. He will be remembered as a man who valued hard work, family, and loyalty above all else.

Steven was married twice in his life-first to Annette Cortright in 1990, who later preceded him in death, and later to Kay Cortright in 2012, who also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Kassie and her husband, Jonathan Ontman of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Aiden Smith and Damien Ontman of Greenwood; his siblings, Bill Cortright, Donny Jarvis, Lisa Dammann, Jody Miles, Christina Minihan, and Dennis Cortright; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Janice McCarty. He shared close friendships with Logan Geels and David Keen who he considered his family.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cortright and Theresa Lombardi; his brother, David Jarvis; and his wives, Annette Cortright and Kay Cortright.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strong work ethic, and the quiet but steady love he gave to those closest to him.
