Steven Cron of Apalachin, NY passed away on April 7th at Wilson Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Steve fought hard for many years with multiple health conditions. Although mentally he never gave up, his body was tired of fighting.
Steven was predeceased by his father James Cron, mother Dorothy Cron, and brother Jimmy Cron. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lori Cron. Steve had two children he loved with all of his heart, Melissa Masse (Matt Masse), and Matthew Cron. He was a wonderful and fun loving grandpa to three grandsons- Grayden, Camden, and Landen Masse. Steve was loved greatly by all of his siblings, Ed Cron (Georgette), Mike Cron (Bobby), Sue Krizanek (Bob), Jack Cron (Wendy), Jodie Carne (Bill). Steve had many nieces and nephews in which he loved each and every one.
There was nothing more that Steve loved than spending time with family, snuggling with his beloved dogs, barbecuing, and fishing on Oneida Lake with his brother Mike.
There will be calling hours on Saturday April 12th at 2:30 at Vestal United Methodist church with a service following after at 3:00.
