Steven Wayne Davis was a man whose life was a testament to enduring love, steadfast faith and unwavering devotion to family. Born the fifth of eight children, Steve's journey was one connection, warmth, and generosity.

A 1982 graduate of Northwest High School, Steve served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard for a short period before building a career as a Corporate Trainer at Trans-State Airlines.

On June 24, 1983, Steve was united in holy matrimony with his beloved wife, Nicole Germaine (Jackson) Davis. Their loving union was blessed with four children, and their home was a beacon of laughter, support, and unconditional love.

Steve's heart and home were open to all. He had a special gift for connecting with children and had a hand in raising many of his nieces and nephews. To the kids in his neighborhood, he was lovingly known as "Ta-Ta" (an affectionate term for grandfather), a testament to his nurturing spirit. In his later years, he found immense joy in spending time with his great-nephew Kaden and great-niece Kiersten.

He loved his entire family with a fierce and gentle heart. Steve was the undisputed "grill master" and "turkey fryer king," famous for the best pork steaks and ribs in St. Louis. He was also an avid WWE wrestling fan and a proud Trekkie. And no one could enjoy a good party quite like Steve, he never missed a moment to dance, laugh, and celebrate life, especially when it came to the joyful gatherings hosted by his cherished wife.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, James Davis and Geraldine (Aki) Davis; his two brothers, Robert (Robbie) Gibson and Arthur Gibson; and two nieces, Janelle Gibson and Devin Gibson.

He leaves to venerate his memory his loving wife, Nicole Davis; three sons, Joshua Davis, Jeremy Davis, and Joseph Davis; one daughter, Jennifer (Davis) Ullom; daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Jones) Davis; and son-in-law, Jordan Ullom. He is also survived by his sisters.

Dianna Merrill and Dorothy Davis; brothers, Tony Davis, Herbie Gibson, and Arthur Gibson; sisters-in-law, Kathy Jackson and Jennie Gibson; and brothers-in-law, Edward Jackson and Richard Wilson.

Steve's legacy will continue to live on through the mighty blessing of having many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a host of friends who he treated as family. He will be profoundly missed.
