Steven Royce Deel, 75, of Greenwood, Indiana passed into the arms of his Savior on November 24th, 2025.
He was born March 10th, 1950 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Goldie (Drake) and Desco Deel.
Steven often spoke with great fondness of his childhood in Crystal, Indiana. He moved from there with his family to Tampa, Florida for a few years and then returned to Indiana during his teens and twenties living in Loogootee and Springville. In 1978 Steve relocated to Greenwood, Indiana and made that city his home for the remainder of his life.
He worked in the construction industry and as a driver making deliveries and transporting passengers.
He was predeceased by his Parents; Sisters – Norma Jean Beaver, Marlene Elkins and Janet Thompson; and Brother and best friend – Donald Deel.
Steve’s survivors:
Brothers-in-Law – Lester Beaver and David Elkins
Nieces and Nephews – Judy Dunlap, Doug Beaver, Lisa Watson, Patti DeVary, Carla Sloan, Jonathan Thompson,
Mark Elkins, Susan Thompson, Matt Elkins, and Sandra Tweedie.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Paoli Community Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Village South, 183 S. Smock Drive, Greenwood, IN 46143.
