Steven Dodd, a man known for his generous spirit, quick smile, and love of life, passed away tragically on September 27th, 2025.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Dodd, his mother Sandra Ferry-Law, his daughter Shelby Welch and her husband Nathan Welch, his daughter Danielle Hughes (Ryan Carter), his son Jake Hughes (Katie Ruddy), and his loving grandchildren: Lincoln, Madelynn, and Parker.

Steve lived life with passion and purpose, finding joy in the simple but meaningful things. He had a lifelong love for motorcycles and the freedom of the open road, and he could often be found in the garage tinkering, fixing, or building with his hands. Always on the hunt for antique treasures, he enjoyed the thrill of discovery and the stories hidden within the things he found. A true lover of music, Steve's soundtrack was filled with loud 80's tunes that matched his energy and zest for life. Above all else, though, his greatest treasure was his family. He was a devoted and loving presence, always putting those he cared about first.

Steve's compassion and generosity were at the heart of who he was. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or go out of his way to help someone in need. Those who knew him will remember not just what he did, but the way he made people feel - valued, supported, and cared for.

He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brown Funeral Home.

Cremation has taken place and Steven's family will be remembering him privately.

Steven's life was defined by love, kindness, and giving. His legacy will continue in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
