Steven Allan Dudley, 67, of Nevis, MN, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Steven was born on July 19, 1956, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, MN, the son of Ervin and Renee (Crist) Dudley. He grew up in Nevis, MN, and graduated from Nevis High School. On July 28, 1979, Steven was united in marriage to Diane Sander on Spiderweb Lake in Nevis, MN. This union was blessed with one daughter Melissa.
Steven was a lumber jack and volunteer firefighter in Nevis, MN. He loved spending time with his wife fishing or taking that last minute trip. Their plans would change so often that they would just be spontaneous and live for the moment. He loved to hunt and to sit in the deer blind and drink his coffee.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Diane Dudley of Nevis, MN; daughter Melissa (Stephen) Ready; siblings: Dwayne (Jeannette) Dudley, Debbie Tyge, Shirley (Chuck) Dennis, Kathy (Keith) Becker, Gary (Tammy) Dudley, David (Janie) Dudley; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ervin, and Renee (Crist) Dudley, brothers, Daryl and Lonnie Dudley. . He will be missed.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Jones Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN.
