Steven "Bud" Edwards, 77, of California, Mo passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at St. Mary's Health Ctr. in Jefferson City, MO. He was born on December 15, 1944 in KC MO the son of Ira Edwards and Merle Neblock both who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage in California, MO to Betty Jenkins on November 7, 1968 who survives of the home. Steven worked for the city of California street dept. for 30 years until his retirement. He was also a Army National Guard Veteran. He enjoyed westerns, painting ceramics, hunting, enjoyed life, and said after breakfast it was a great day to take a nap. He is survived by 1 son, Robert Edwards (Tina) of Henley, MO; 2 brothers, Thomas Edwards and Jack Edwards; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, John and Jerry Edwards and brother, Gerald Edwards. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 12 noon – 1:00 P.M. with the Funeral starting at 1:00 P.M. all at the funeral home. Officiating will be Bro. Tom Mustain. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Alzheimer and Dementia Society c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, MO.
