Steven Charles Fletcher was born November 23, 1962, and passed away on September 9, 2025. He was the son of Arthur and Ruth Fletcher, and brother of Sharon and Bethany Fletcher.
Steve loved the outdoors and all of nature, and enjoyed working in the yard and garden. He was skillful with his hands and with tools, and was an excellent repairman who took pride in his workmanship. He was a lapidary enthusiast from boyhood and acquired an impressive collection and knowledge of rocks, minerals, and gemstones over the years. He enjoyed cooking and leaves behind an extensive array of fantastic recipes for friends and family to prepare and appreciate, along with fond memories of his culinary creations. Cats were his favorite “people”, and he had many beloved feline friends over the years - top of the list was Natasha, who was truly his soul mate! He was an enthusiastic Chicago White Sox, Bears, and Clemson fan, and loved classic rock music.
Like the rest of the family, his favorite place was the state of Maine, his mother’s birthplace. The Fletchers lived there for many years, and then enjoyed annual vacations Down East in the ensuing years. His mother and sister Bethany will lovingly carry his and his older sister’s cremains to join the waters of the beautiful Casco Bay in the coming springtime.
