I'm deeply saddened to hear about Steve's passing. His stalwart dedication and service to us here in the state of Rhode Island goes beyond description. Steve had an absolutely profound effect on the fight for recognition of ADA Federal rights for members of the RI Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. I had the honor of seeing his work first hand when he presented proposed legislation to the RI Senate and House committees, where I was one of many folks testifying in support of the proposed bills. Steve displayed a constant sense of professionalism and savvy acumen throughout his leadership. My sincerest condolences to Steve's family, especially to Michelle, my friend and former colleague. May you Rest In Power, dear Steve.
