Steven Gerald Davis

Steven Gerald Davis Age 70, of Rice Lake, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 14, 2025 in Cumberland, WI. He was born on February 20, 1955 in Eau Claire, WI to Gerald and June (Gunderson) Davis. Steve entered the United States Navy and was later Honorably Discharged. Steve was married to Vironica "Vickie" Katterhagen on June 18, 1977 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He worked various jobs, as a farmer, construction, lawn care, maintenance and as a cook and also lived in many cities and towns. Steve loved working on cars, enjoyed hunting/fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of a rock band. He is survived by his wife, Vironica "Vickie" Davis; 2 daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Flottum and Lynnette (Travis) Robarge; a son, Steven Davis Jr.; 7 grandchildren, Ivy Stauner, Damien Capuzzi, Mikaela Robarge, Alex Robarge, Cora Flottum, Mathew Davis and Octavia Davis; a sister, Cindy Davis; a brother, Terry Davis; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and June Davis; 2 brothers, Jerry Davis and David Davis; 2 sisters, Susan Davis and Debbie Cook. The family would like to thank Cumberland Care and Rehab and St. Croix Hospice for their love, care and support for the wonderful care they gave to Steve. His last words were: I love you and I'll see you when I see you. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
