He attended Vicksburg Community Schools and was always mechanically inclined. Being forever curious he was driven to know how things worked. It is very fitting he was self-employed, running his own lawn care service. He was always incredibly thoughtful, always willing to help anyone who needed him.
Steven was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He once caught a fish with his bare hands. He loved the peacefulness of being in nature. Steven had a very unique sense of humor. He was clever with his words. He loved making his family and friends laugh.
Steven enjoyed spending time with his mother Nickole as much as she loved spending time with him. They both had an incredible appreciation for music and shared many common interests such as kayaking, swimming, boating, hunting, recreational vehicles and collecting memorabilia.
As a boy, Steven loved trains. He spent a great deal of time playing at the Train Barn in Portage with his great grandpa Seth. He often traveled up north to visit his great grandpa Gary, great aunt Paulette and great uncle Danny, always fishing and exploring outdoors.
He traveled frequently with his great grandma Peggy. He especially enjoyed going with her to Arkansas to visit his Grammie Pie Kathy, aunt Glo and uncle Bill.
Steven had a great many friends. He always came up with new and interesting ways to amuse them. Steven’s laughter was contagious and his smile lit up the room.
