Steve was born in Portland Indiana on June 15, 1963.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Saranne Johnson and stepmother, Macel M. Johnson.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Angela; his father, James Johnson of Lake Placid, Florida; his brothers: Timothy (Colleen) Johnson of Front Royal, Virginia; and Daniel Johnson of Palm Harbor, Florida; along with six nephews and nieces: Ben; Sam; Bethany; Deborah; David; and Lucia Johnson.
Steve had a great love and passion for God. He loved meeting new people, and he always put his family first. Steve also enjoyed following NASCAR, the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Bears, and of course, he had a great love for all things Purdue.
A memorial will be held on October, 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in New Oak Hill Cemetery (1300 Chester St., Plymouth, IN).
