Steven Lee Jones, age 24, was born July 14th, 1999, in Mesa, AZ, and was tragically taken from us on February 3rd, 2024, following a motorcycle accident.
He is survived by his father, Jimmie Jones Jr., his mother, Kelly Jones, and his sister, Pamela Jones. Also, by his brothers, Spencer Camacho, Zach Norton, Devon Sawyer, Jason Wesela and Tyler Charby, along with their children, Salvatore Sawyer, Nicholas Sawyer, Hazel Wesela, Wyatt Wesela, Jasper Charby, Rowan Charby and Willow Charby to whom he was known as Uncle Steve. He also has a multitude of aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. He will be missed by all, but not forgotten.
Steven loved riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and playing on his PlayStation. He was a very hard worker and took pride in everything he did. He was a very social young man that brought light and laughter to everyone and was loved by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held, in his honor, from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home, located at 21809 S Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ, 85142. A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00am with Steven's funeral service starting at 11:00am. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link, Steven Lee Jones Service | EventLive (evt.live). The burial will follow at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, located at 22425 E Cloud Rd. Queen Creek, AZ, 85142 from 12:30 – 1:30, unless the weather postpones it until Friday, February 16th at 2:30pm.
"For Steven there was no better place than on his motorcycle and the big smile it left on him can never be erased, music was his escape, his peace, and even now you can be sure he's up there listening to his favorite songs smiling down watching over all of us because that's who Steve was. A light to everyone around him and anyone who needed him. With a contagious smile and laugh that would make you forget the reason you were upset in the first place. he would never ask for anything in return other than maybe for his friends to get on the game. He is an amazing young man and took pride in everything he did and will be sorely missed by anyone who got the pleasure to meet him." – Spencer Camacho
