Steven Philip Lauer

Steven Philip Lauer, a beloved member of our community, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Riverview. The son of Walter and Phyllis (Mannausa) Lauer, he was born November 7, 1965, in Lincoln Park. A proud 1984 graduate of Huron High School, Steven’s life was characterized by his dedication to both his work and his passions.As an all-around handy mechanic and drywall installer, he became known as the neighborhood "Fix It Guy," a title that spoke volumes about his skills and willingness to lend a helping hand. Steven often came to the rescue of friends and neighbors alike, embodying a spirit of generosity and kindness that left a lasting mark on those who knew him.Steven cherished the great outdoors. He found his bliss in hunting, fishing, camping, and riding ATVs, creating a wealth of joyful memories with friends and family along the way. His laughter and spirit will forever resonate deeply in the hearts of those who shared these moments with him.Steven leaves behind his loving sister, Becky (Randy) Slusher, who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his devoted parents, who welcomed him into eternal rest. The bonds of love and memories they created together will forever be cherished.Steven's legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
