Steven Mark Leamer, age 58, of Rome and formerly of Calhoun, passed away Monday evening April 8th at his residence.
Steven was born May 27, 1965, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, son of Donna Thomas Leamer and the late Ronald Harry Leamer. He was employed as a logistic coordinator with Minerals Technology. Steven loved working with computers, but his passion was his beloved Miami Dolphins.
Survivors include his wife Toni McElroy Leamer, his mother, Donna Thomas Leamer, stepchildren, Stephanie Ruckner, Rebecca Ruckner, and Nichole Ruckner. One grandson, J. J. Truitt. Three brothers, Ronald Leamer II, J.R. Leamer, and Jimmy Watson also survives.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Steven Mark Leamer will be conducted Saturday April 13th at 1 pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Jim Leamer and Tyler Leamer officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11am until the funeral hour.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to you local animal shelter.
