Steven Leinberger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shimon Funeral Home on Dec. 6, 2025.
Steven Leinberger, of Erin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on May 3, 1957, in New Berlin, Wisconsin, to the late Louis and Beverly Leinberger, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Constance (née Nowak); and their three children: Mathew (Devon) of Wauwatosa, WI; Andrew (Christi) of Madison, WI; and Joshua (Katy) of Racine, WI. He is further survived by his cherished grandchildren, Alijah White, Nora Leinberger, and Henry Leinberger; sister Leann (Leinberger) Bass; nieces and nephews; the Mlinar and Nowak families; and many other family members and friends.
His greatest joy was being a husband, father, and grandfather. Though he cherished many blessings in his life, none brought him more happiness than the time he spent with his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren, whom he collectively called his "treasures." Their laughter filled his home, their accomplishments filled him with pride, and their presence filled his heart.
The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Jonathan Thompson and the compassionate staff at the Froedtert Cancer Center for their exceptional care and kindness.
Though he will be deeply missed, the assurance of his eternal home brings comfort and peace. His legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to shine through all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
