Steven D. "Steve" Light

Steven D. "Steve" Light, 70, of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg. Steve was the husband of Vickie M. (Minnich) Light, with whom he would have celebrated 49 years in marriage this coming June.
Steve was born in Lebanon on August 17, 1952 to the late Thomas Light, Sr., and June (Dundore) Light. He worked at Lebanon post office as a letter carrier for 35 years, and Harding Elementary as security for 10 plus years. Steve adored Vickie and loved his family and friends. He also loved sports, mostly NFL and college basketball. He enjoyed working outside in the yard and taking care of his flower beds. He took care of his adopted cat family. Steve enjoyed visiting Cape May and Aruba. He will be remembered for being kind, generous, and helping anyone who asked.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Linda Light, sister-in-law, Sharon Faiola (Dominic), brothers-in-law, Kerry Minnich, Larry Minnich (Kathy), and aunts, uncles, and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Rev. Thomas Light, Jr., and Barbara Light.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2023 at 6PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be held privately at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon. There will be a visitation from 5PM – 6PM at the funeral home on Tuesday evening. Those in attendance for the visitation and the memorial service are required to wear masks.
