Steven Lyon Obituary
He was born August 26, 1951, in Highland Park, the son of the late Otis and Sybil (Jeffe) Lyon.
His marriage to Kim Murphy was March 4, 1983, in Sterling Heights.
Steven worked for General Motors Truck and Bus Plant, Pontiac, for 30 years before his retirement in 2003. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Steven never missed an opportunity to cheer on his daughters and grandchildren at all of their sporting events.
Surviving in addition to his with Kim of 41 years are three daughters, Amber King of Mio, Amanda (Matt) Jackson of Warren, and Stevie (Bryan) Weaver of Yale; five grandchildren, Carter, Cassandra, Taylor, Madison, and Evelyn; three sisters, Sandy, Susann, and Shirley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Scot.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".

Our sincere condolesences to the family. I (Pat) knew Steven when we were all young and stupid and having fun. I hung out at the Lyon house because I was friends with his sisters (mainly Sandy at the time). I have lots of memories of those days and have known the girls to this day.
Rest in Peace Steven until we all meet again.
