In Loving Memory
Steven Joe Manus
Mr. Steven Joe Manus, age 40, of Colville, WA, passed away March 9, 2025 in Colville, WA. Steve was born March 14, 1984 in Reno, NV.
A man of many talents, Steven was a trained HVAC Technician having graduated third in his class. He was an excellent cook. Steven was a body builder. He was a talented mechanic. If something needed fixing, he could do it. He shared these talents with his son, Evan. The two spent many hours working rebuilding a dirt bike from the ground up and working on Steve's old 1972 GMC ¾ Ton 4x4 pickup. He was an excellent problem solver – figuring necessary work arounds.
Steven was a bit of a jokester. He was cute, funny, and humorous. Steven loved imitating comedians. He always had a joke and a silly face to be shared.
Steven was a man that loved with his whole heart. He was a GOOD hugger. His hugs were his way of expressing how much he loved you. Steven always had a soft heart for the underdog. He would go out of his way to offer assistance and support to those who were less fortunate.
Perhaps the most significant love of his life was that of his former wife, Cassey. She was the love of his life – his soul mate and best friend. Though their marriage ended, their bond was inseparable. Steven loved his son, Evan greatly. He was very close to his sister, Chyla. They had a great love and respect for each other.
Steven is predeceased by his father, Vincent Joe Manus. He is survived by his son, Evan; former wife, Cassey; mother, Robin (Michael) Morgan, and sister, Julie Chyla (Stephen) Maans; sister, Sarah Sumpter; niece, Nevaeh McNalley and nephew Micaiah McNalley; many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved with his whole heart. A memorial service is planned for June 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Reno, NV at the Ranch House in San Rafael Park. Danekas Funeral Chapel & Crematory have been entrusted with his care. Please visit the online memorial website and sign his guestbook at www.danekasfuneralchapel.com.
