I grew up with Steve in Jerome and have known him all my life. He was one of this worlds best in every way! He will be missed greatly. May your next adventure be at least as good as this has been. I'm very sad.

I was fortunate to get to meet Steve when he was in the Hoff Building with the Idaho Hospital Association. He was a good man. Rest in peace, Steve.

My mom, Jessie Smith, and my sisters and I will always remember Steve, Jerry Hart, and my dad, Bob Smith, as important contributors to Idaho´s heath-care. We imagine them together now with their razor sharp humor filling heaven.
Thank you, Steve.

I am so sad to hear of Steve´s passing. He was an honorable, well liked and highly respected man. During the time he was with the Idaho Hospital Association, I was with Blue Cross and I feel so lucky to have worked with him over many years. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Steve beginning in the early 1990s when he was with the Idaho Hospital Association and I was with the Idaho Medical Association. He was a consummate professional and a good friend with a great sense of humor. He was a charter member of our poker group that ran for over 30 years.
My condolences to Peg and the rest of his family. He will be missed.

Our friendship began in grade school...what a guy to know over all these years! He will be remembered by many as honest and true, a man to count on.
He led the way for many younger Jerome-ites and was an example of what so many young men aspired to. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Steve and his brother were great athletes . I played against them during high school at Twin Falls. I rushed him and his brother to Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity at Idaho State. Played football for the Bengals. He and I were roommates for couple of years. Great friend may he rest in peace and our sympathies for his family.

I´m sorry to read of Steve´s death. Steve and his twin brother Stan were two of the most handsome, smart, athletic guys to ever come out of Jerome or any other town in Idaho. Steve will be greatly missed.
