Steven Mockles Obituary
MOCKLES, Steven Wayne, age 47, of Swartz Creek, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home. Private arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Steven was born on June 28, 1976, in Flint, the son of David and Sara (Cogdill) Mockles. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School. Steven and Alisa “Starr” Zudell were united in marriage on February 18, 2002, in Flint. Together they operated their family farm, Quality Starr Farm. He was a skilled mechanic, always working on small engines, vehicles, and farm equipment. Steven enjoyed video games, cars and riding around on his favorite tractor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Starr Mockles; daughters, Destinee Mockles and Misty (Brenden) Gallaty; mother, Sara Mockles; and brother, David (Sherry) Mockles. Steven was preceded in death by his father, David Mockles. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
