Steven Richard Moore

Steven Richard Moore, a beloved husband, father, and son, passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 64 in Oconomowoc, WI. He was born on September 17, 1959, in Darlington, WI to Sharon Brinkmann and Richard Moore.
Steven was known for his love of ALL sports, particularly NASCAR, and cherished attending races with his best friend, Mark Schneck. In his free time, Steven could be found enjoying 70's music, especially the likes of Steely Dan and The Alan Parsons Project, and watching reruns of Star Trek.
For many years, Steve worked behind the bar at the Seven Seas where he met the love of his life, Amber. In recent years, he retired from the liquor department of Sendik's in Hartland where he recommended many a tasty beer. Steven's patriotic spirit shone brightly, as did his passion for exploring the wineries of Sonoma, CA, and indulging in a glass of exquisite wine. His love of conversation, Jeopardy, and his navigational skills will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Steven is survived by his wife Amber; children Charles and Emily; mother Sharon Brinkmann; siblings Kristine (Terry) Tarrer of Greensboro, GA; along with many friends and his extended Conway families in Winona, MN; Exeter, England; Houston, TX and Ixonia.
Steven is preceded in death by his father Richard Moore and Bill Brinkmann, dear friend and second father.
The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, particularly extending their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Siegel, Deanna Ficke, and the entire clinic staff for their unwavering care and support during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials to assist with medical costs.
A visitation will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church (995 S. Silver Lake St, Oconomowoc, WI 53066) from 9:30-11:00 with a service to follow.
