It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Floyd Morris, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on December 20, 2025, just a day after celebrating his 73rd birthday. Born on December 19, 1952, in Springfield, Ohio, he lived a full life rich with passion, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Those who knew Steven best will fondly remember his love for fishing, the thrill of motorcycle rides, and the joy he derived from spending time with family-especially his cherished kids and grandkids, and great grandkids: Steven III, Koben, Madison, Gatlin, Asa, Lilly, Laban, Trinity, Tristian, Trenton, Thomas, Reece, Andrea and John, Taz, Parker, Cash, Saylor, Adeline. Steven was a devoted father to John Hrabovsky, Stephanie Morris, Steven Morris II, Sara Porada and Richard Morris. He was also a loving father-in-law, welcoming Julie Morris and Thomas Porada into the family with open arms as well as daughter-in-law Brittany Morris, who brought him much joy. Also survived by his dear brother Dale (Jean) Morris.
A celebration of Steven's life will be held to honor the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind. The family invites friends to join them for funeral services on Monday December 29th at 10am. They welcome all who were touched by Steven's spirit to come together-sharing stories, laughter, and perhaps a fishing tale or two, just as he would have wanted.
In our hearts forever, Steven will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Steven was preceded in death by: parents Richard & Helen Morris and brother Dan Morris
