Steve Murray, born on April 30, 1944, in Duluth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott, New York. A cherished member of his community, Steve's legacy is woven through his notable career as one of the best printers in the United States, where he dedicated his skills and passion to his craft. Beyond printing, he also was a bus driver for the Head Start program, in Deposit, NY.

Steve was not only an accomplished professional but also a person who deeply appreciated the beauty of the natural world, so much so that he’s been a vegan for 45 years. His love for animals, birds, and trees was evident in his everyday life, embodying a spirit of respect and stewardship for the environment.

Steve served his country in the United States Navy Reserves, a testament to his character and commitment to service.

He will be remembered fondly by his friends, including Sue Coe, Tierra Sharpe, Jim De Koker, Fay Duftler, and Jane Kallir. Their memories of Steve reflect the warmth, friendship, and kindness that he generously shared with those around him.
