Dr. Steven James Mustric

Dr. Steven James Mustric, loving father, husband, and grandfather, passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 89.

Born on August 26, 1936, to the late James and Sylvia Mustric, Steven lived a life defined by intellect, compassion, and curiosity. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Mustric, and his brother, George Mustric (Diane). He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Bryan Lopus), and cherished granddaughter, Marlena Lopus, who brought him endless joy.

A graduate of Wadsworth High School, Steven earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and later his Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1962. He served honorably in the United States Air Force, stationed in Lubbock, Texas, before beginning his long and fulfilling career in radiology.

Steven was deeply passionate about his work and continued practicing medicine until the age of 75. He was a longtime member of Northwest United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio. Outside of his professional life, he was a man of many interests-a devoted student of Shakespeare, a trained painter, and a lifelong lover of classical music. He found joy on the golf course and tennis court, and peace in the quiet beauty of art and literature.

Friends and family are invited to dinner on December 16, 2025, at 6pm at Birmingham Country Club to celebrate Steven's life and legacy.

Steven will be remembered for his wit, intellect, and gentle humor. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
