Steven "Beans" Ness 69 of York, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, in Dover, Delaware.
Steve loved spending time with family and friends in the mountains hunting and fishing or at the local VFW shooting darts. He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Ryan.
Steven is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Stephanie L. Ness (Ryan); stepdaughter, Lori Grendell; and his daughter-in-law, Jesikka Moore. He took immense pride in his grandchildren: Jordyn and Ryan Ness, Valori Grendell, and Elaina Tsoukalis. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, his brothers, Todd Ness and Michael Ness, as well as his sister, Leisa Wright (Ness).
Steven was preceded in death by his son, Duane Ness; his parents, Ruthetta "Pat" Ness and Donald "Beans" Ness; brothers Lonnie and Troy Ness, sister Donna Rae Wilk (Ness) and many close family members and friends who held a special place in his heart.
A memorial service to celebrate Steven's life will be Saturday, September 27, 2025 at John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 902 Mount Rose Ave. York. The visitation will be from 11:00am - 12:00pm with the service beginning at 12:00pm.
Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
