Steven J. Place of Bridgewater passed away on December 5, 2024 after a brief illness.
Steven worked as an HVHC Journeyman for local 17 and was a proud member of SMART for 16 years where he grew many lifelong friendships. He was known for his love of the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, or quahogging with his daughter, Steven was always happiest in nature. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed spending time with their family dog Harley. Steven's main passion in life was spending time with those he loved, especially his wife and daughter. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of 12 years to Susan Place (Bottcher) of Bridgewater. Loving father of Morgan Place of Bridgewater. Cherished son of Edward Place of Pembroke and Mary Ostlund of Bridgewater. Caring brother of Edward Place Jr. of Pembroke and his half siblings Ashley Reynolds, Shawn Reynolds, and Jillan Place. Adored grandson of Barbara Place of Pembroke. Devoted son in law of Carol and Gerard Bottcher. Also survived by his best friend Joey Pilling, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, sister-in-law, and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4-7 PM in the Chapman Funeral Home, BRIDGEWATER.
