Steven Ponthier Obituary
A memorial service for Steven Ponthier will be held at 12:00 p.m., January 11, 2024 in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Saint Martin of Tours Cemetery in Hessmer.
Steven Ponthier, age 43, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kelsie Ponthier and Charlotte Ponthier of Fifth Ward; son, Ayden Ponthier of Marksville; fiance, Jessica Asbra of Hessmer; sisters, Jessica Rodriguez of Bunkie and Susan Normand of Hessmer; mother, Shirley Ponthier of Marksville; father, Roy Descant of Marksville; grandchild, Everleigh Harris of Fifth Ward.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Bertha & Rudolph Ponthier, Sr. and Lula & Clotile Descant, and sister, Charlene Descant.
Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home have been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
