I was deeply saddened to learn of Steven´s sudden and untimely passing.
Although I only had the chance to meet him once, our time together in Kenya left a profound and lasting impression. Steven's warmth, kindness, and positive energy were truly remarkable, and he had an extraordinary ability to bring joy and light to those around him.
It is heartbreaking that his journey was cut short. The moments we shared, though brief, will forever hold a special place in my memories.
My thoughts are with his family, especially Tomke. The loss of such an extraordinary person leaves a void that cannot be filled. I wish you strength as you navigate this incredibly difficult time and hope you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with him.
Rest in peace, Steven. You will always be remembered.

Finding the right words feels impossible right now because no words can truly capture the pain of losing Steven far too soon.
My heart goes out to my dear Aunt Tomke, who shared such a beautiful and special love with Steven. Together, they were an incredible team, and their love was something truly beautiful and deeply inspiring to me.
Steven was someone who left a mark on everyone he met. He was kind, full of life, humorous, and always grateful. I wish more than anything that I could tell him one more time what a wonderful person he was and how grateful I am to have been able to call him part of my family.
Steven had a way of bringing light into any room. I wish there had been more time - more laughter, more conversations, more memories. But I feel truly honored to have known Steven, even for the time that I did. Those moments will always hold a special place in my heart.
You were deeply loved, Steven, and you will always be remembered. Rest in peace.

Auch wir sind erschüttert vom viel zu frühen Tod von Steven. Leider haben wir ihn nur einmal kurz kennenlernen dürfen im Kreise unserer Familie.

I met Steven only once when he was visiting his girlfriend, Tomke, here in Germany. We had previously connected through video chats, and I always enjoyed our conversations. I was deeply shocked to hear about his passing. Although I didn´t know him well, I found him to be a genuinely kind-hearted person. My heartfelt condolences go out to all his loved ones.

My heart goes out to my dearest friend, Tomke. I cannot imagine a better partner for her than Steven. The love they shared was truly beautiful, and I mourn with her as she faces this profound loss. My heart aches for her, for his parents, Brother, Family and for everyone who was touched by Steven´s kindness and light.

I was blessed to have this memory several times. Sitting in the electrics office at the August Wilson with Steve and the team. Just clowning around, watching movies, and sharing things that made us happy or excited.
I'll never forget seeing him for the first time. I heard him first, bumping music coming from somewhere in the middle of a gutted theatre construction site. I look up and there's this guy with his head half in the ceiling with a Bluetooth speaker just jamming out.
Steve was such a light in the life of everyone he came across.

I can still remember very well the day Steven visited us for the first time in Nairobi, even though it was so many years ago. After that first visit, he left us like a family member, and this tragedy hit my family like a shockwave. The pain of this loss will be lasting.
My condolences go to my sister Tomke, Steven's family, and Steven's friends. My son Eyk, my daughter Fee, my wife Susie, and I wish you the strength to get through this.

I am still at a loss for words. My heart goes out to Stevens Family and to Tomke. I will remember Steven as one of the most charming, witty and loveable people I have met in my life. I couldn't have wished for a better partner for my dear friend. For that, I loved him.
