Steven B. Pulik

Steven B. Pulik, age 78 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on March 18, 2023. Steve was a 1963 graduate of Harvard School for Boys-Chicago and then went on to receive his Bachelors and Master's Degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. He served as Personnelman in the US Navy, serving on the USS Lawrence (1966-67), the USS Beale (1967-68), and finishing his tenure at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, TX (1968-70). Steve was a successful research administrator at Western Michigan University, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and University of Tennessee. He was a lifelong member of the Society of Research Administrators and served as President of the Midwest Section from 1992-93.
Steve is survived by his beloved best friend and wife of 54 years Arlyn Pulik and a host of extended family and friends. Arlyn will receive friends on Wednesday, March 22nd from 4:00-6:00pm at Rose Funeral and Cremation -Mann, 6200 Kingston Pike. Interment will be at Zion Gardens Cemetery, Chicago and the date and time will be announced promptly. In lieu of flowers, perform an act of kindness today in his memory.
