With great sadness, we announce the passing of Steve Resnick who died on February 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with an incurable brain tumor. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Patterson, NJ to the late Bernard and Faye Resnick. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Jerome Resnick for 21 wonderful years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Ronald Resnick and his wife Nancy of Mahwah, NJ; as well as nephews Matthew Resnick and his wife Lindsey and Michael Resnick of New York.

Steve was a graduate of Quinnipiac University and spent his career working in retail for various companies across New York, Florida and Rhode Island. Prior to his retirement, he served as a Marketing Director for Travel Pro Luggage in Boca Raton, FL.

Giving back to others was important to Steve. He volunteered many hours at the Food Banks in RI and FL. Also, he taught English and Math to Hispanic speaking students at the Bonita Springs Literacy Center. Additionally, he assisted at sports games for Special Olympics and helped Big Brothers and Sisters of America.

Steve’s true passion was playing golf with various men’s leagues in RI and FL, as well as painting amazing acrylic landscapes, ocean and boat paintings.
