Steven W. Rispoli, known affectionately as Steve to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on June 30, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York, Steve was a man whose warmth and humor brought light to the lives of all who knew him.
Steve was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Marie Rispoli. His brothers Joseph and James Rispoli, and his sisters Laura Rispoli and Nancy Robinson. His memory will continue to live on through his surviving family. Steve's legacy is carried forward by his cherished son, John Rispoli; his brother, Daniel Rispoli; and his sisters, Debra Shopp, Camille Tenny, Mariann Rispoli, and Diane Settembre, along with many adoring nieces and nephews.
Steve's professional life was marked by his dedication as a Produce Manager at Shoprite, where he worked in various locations including Middletown, Hazlet, and most recently Shrewsbury, where he was a respected and familiar face to many.
An avid Mets and Jets fan, Steve's enthusiasm for his teams was infectious. His passion extended to his impressive collection of baseball cards, a hobby that he approached with the same meticulous care and devotion that he applied to every aspect of his life.
Above all, Steve was a family man. His love for his relatives was profound, and he was often referred to as the best uncle one could ask for. His sense of humor and selflessness made him the heart of family gatherings, and his absence will be deeply felt at every occasion.
Steve's ability to make others laugh was one of his greatest gifts. He had a knack for lightening the mood and could bring a smile to even the most stoic of faces.
His memory will be treasured in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 5PM to 7PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Avenue Keansburg. A religious service will start at 6:30 PM which will conclude the services for the evening.
