Steven Robart

Steven Michael Robart, 46, of the Conners Road, Peru, died Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the UVM Health Network, CVPH in Plattsburgh, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh, September 24, 1978, the son of Dale and Eugenia (Jettie) Robart.
Steve worked for the NYS Corrections for 18 years. Also, he was the Commander for the DAV until his death. Steve served his communities in the volunteer fire services since the age of 14.
Left to cherish the memory of Steve are, his wife, Tonya, who he married February 24, 2024; his three children, Bryce, (Kodi), Brytyn, & Marissa; granddaughter, Emery, who he cherished most of all; parents, Dale & Eugenia Robart of Dannemora; brother & sister-in-law, Dale & Shannon Robart of Peru; brother-in-law, Shawn Relation & his companion Barb Sherman of West Plattsburgh; maternal grandparents, Sylvester & Joyce Laclair of Churubusco; mother-in-law, Ruth Relation of Peru; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Also, his faithful furry companions Toby & Athena who never left his side for a moment.
Steven was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Edward & Hazel Robart; maternal grandfather, Eugene Jette; maternal great-grandparents, Francis & Eva Benware; father-in-law, Michael Relation; and nephew, Dale Blake.
After the services all are welcome to join the family for a reception at the Peru Fire Dept.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from Noon to 1:30 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. At 1:30 pm all those present will be invited to exit the funeral home and gather at the Hamilton Veteran's Memorial where the state flag will be presented as well as full military honors. A reception will follow at the Peru Fire Dept.
Donations in memory of Steven may be made to the American Cancer Society, DAV-179, or the Peru Fire Department.
