Steven Rock, Jr., 84, of Erie, PA, died peacefully at home on March 23, 2026. He was born in Fairview, PA on October 17, 1941, the son of the late Steven and Julia Rock.
Steve attended high school in both Fairview and Warren, PA and earned a degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He served in the US Army for six years and worked as an ad designer and printer for Erie Times News until retirement.
Steve was a NASCAR enthusiast who loved cars, Pepsi, spending time in Florida, and hunting. Above all, he cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Steven is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Cynthia; five daughters, Cheryl Roberts (Andy), Marcia Chorney (Al), Jennifer Dunham (Rick), Kristine Rilling (Jonathan), and Stefani Rock (Adam Watt); and his grandchildren Nicholas, Benjamin, and Luke Roberts, Tyler and Casie Chorney, Michael (Leah) and Haley Dunham, Harper and Haidyn Rilling, and Collin and Fiona Watt. He is also survived by his sisters Joanne Lewis, Jean Gundy, and Marion Cherry.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St., Edinboro, PA on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 4 to 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 8880 Main St., McKean, PA.
Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made in Steven's name to Erie Homes for Children and Adults, or AHN Cancer Center. To leave condolences, please sign the GuestBook below.
