Steven Salentine of Modesto, CA passed away at his home at the age of 56. He was born in Oakland, CA to Robert and Phyllis Salentine and spent most of his life in the Central Valley of California. He worked for the City of Tracy for 12 years and served in the US Army.
Steve had suffered many years from chronic illness, however he still continued to help others in need including the homeless. He was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone around him. Steve loved life, his family and friends more than anything else in this world.
Steven is survived by his wife Kristilyn Salentine & stepsons Nathaniel, Andrew, & Garrett Taylor, sisters Karen Salentine of Kailua HI & Sharon Gahn, many loving nieces and nephews, many cousins including John Ditomaso of San Ramon, & sister in law Teresa Salentine of Newman, and brother in law Frank Dehn of Woodinville, WA.
There will be a celebration of Steve's life to be announced at a later date.

Steve...so hard to believe that you´ve been gone for a year. Still can´t really wrap my head around your passing. I find solace knowing that you´re with mom, dad, Deb, Ken, and your beloved Shadow. I miss you more than words can express. You are in my heart forever little brother. I´m so sorry that I didn´t know how to help you. I love you.
