Steven Scott Obituary

Published by D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home on Aug. 31, 2011.
Steven Michael Scott, age 45, died suddenly at his home in Warren on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. He was born on November 16, 1965, the son of Robert C. and Anna (nee: Parada) Scott. Steven graduated from Warren Mott High School, Class of 1983. From there, his continuing education included 2 years at the MoTech Technical Institute where his training and knowledge were bolstered in the field of Automotive Mechanics. Along with his training, skill set, and on-going experience, Steven ultimately attained the position of Master Technician where his expertise was highly sought after by numerous dealerships. Possessing a unique penchant for vehicles, he specialized in the realm of high performance cars and was currently employed by Jaguar-Land Rover Lakeside on Hall Road in Macomb Township, Michigan. Steven was an exemplary mechanic who was highly respected by his co-workers and many other mechanics in the field. Not only was his love for all things automotive evident in his work, he was also renowned for his personal tastes which included an extensive collection of high performance Chrysler products as well. Most notably was his NASCAR Superbird and a Road Runner convertible, the latter of which was a restoration project,...and "his baby." When he wasn't working, Steven enjoyed a plethora of outdoor activities and sharing them with his kids. Whether it was casting a line at a favorite fishing hole, forging through the fields on a snowmobile, or the fun they had camping together, the four of them always had a blast together. Another love they shared was the excitement of water sports. Getting out on the boat brought countless hours of entertainment as they loved the thrill of water skiing and tubing. Spending time with his kids meant the world to him, and they always came first in his life. Everyone knew that Steven was going to be a great dad as evidenced by the loving attention he exuded on his firstborn child who came into the world at a mere 1 lbs 14 oz. It was through that experience that his capacity to love and care was truly realized. Steven had a heart of gold and was always mindful of others. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if he sensed a need. He was also a devout and compassionate family man who doted on his four nieces whom he loved immensely, and was extremely proud of his two brothers who both chose to become police officers. A loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend, his is a life gone far too soon from our presence. Yet, the memory of how he impacted the lives of those he touched along life's way will forever warm the hearts of the many who were blessed to know him. He will be immensely missed and eternally loved. Beloved son of Robert and Anna. Loving father of Jessica, Alexis, and Matthew. Dear brother of Bobby (Lynn) and Derick (Tiffany) Scott. Devoted uncle of Elise, Thelia, Ashley, and Morgan. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends including his former wife and mother of his children, Quinlan and his best buddy, Kong the Giant Rottweiler. Visitation for Steven will be held on Sunday 5-9pm and Monday 1-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd at Common (12 ' mile). Funeral Services for Steven will be held Tuesday 10:30am at the funeral home. Please share memories at Steven's guestbook.
