Steven Secore

Steven Ray Secore Age 72, of Rice Lake, WI, died Sunday, May 19, 2024 in Rice Lake. He was born on January 11, 1952 in Rice Lake to Rayfield and Clare (Walker) Secore. Steve graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1970. He worked for his father at Secore Construction for 21 years and Johnson Truck Bodies in Rice Lake from 1986-1994. Steve was married to Dawn Bjugstad on August 24, 1985 in Barron, WI. He loved hunting, fishing, trout fishing, camping, and spending time at Big Chetac Lake in Birchwood. Steve loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of his heart. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Secore; 5 children, Michael (Erica) Phares, Timothy Phares, Gregory (Stephanie) Phares, Matthew (Kayla) Secore and Keith Secore; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Nancy) Secore; a sister, Terese (Thomas) Thompson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rayfield and Clare Secore. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 1-4PM at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.
