Steven Pete Setters-Walden
Aiken, SC—A graveside service for Mr. Steven Pete Setters-Walden, age 27, will be held 1:00 pm Friday May 9, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor George Johnson officiating. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery. Steven entered into rest on Sunday May 4, 2025. He was the beloved son of Ms. Christina (Calvin) King Setters and Mr. Jamie (Elisha) Walden, III. Steven was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. He was of the Christian faith. Steven worked for Walden Brothers Drywall in Warrenville for 10 years. His hobbies included playing darts, fishing, shooting pool, and he was an avid rock collector. His favorite hobby of all was spending time with his family. One life lived; many lives touched. To know Steven was to know love. His smile and laughter would light up a room. Steven will be dearly missed. Additional survivors include: one son Azazel Kyle Walden, Aiken; his longtime girlfriend Clara Anderson, Aiken; four brothers Calvin (Amanda) Setters, II, Aiken, James (Jessica) Setters, North Augusta, Hunter Walden, Trenton, and Cheiftin Spicer, Augusta; three sisters Krislynn Setters, Aiken, Brianna Walden, Trenton, and Cadince Polatty, Augusta; his paternal grandparents Buddy (Jill) Walden, Johnston, SC, and Debra (Bobby) Hill, Aiken; one uncle on the Setters side Samuel Setters, Aiken; two aunts on the Setters side Phyllis Setters, Amelia, OH, and Katherine (Johnny) Kappes, Aiken; three nephews on the Setters side James Setters, II, Blake Setters, and Trey Setters; two nieces on the Setters side Kaci Setters, and Bella Setters; three nephews and five nieces on the Walden side; two uncles on the Walden side Chad (Kimberly) Walden, Graniteville, and Chris Donaldson, Alpharetta, GA; and three aunts on the Walden side Brittany Bagley, Aiken, Tiffany Jowers, Aiken, and Jocelyn Williams, Charleston. Steven was preceded in death by his adoptive father Mr. Calvin Setters, Sr., as well as two uncles Robert King and James Allphin.
