Steven “Steve” Vallevand, 72, of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Fargo VA Medical Center.
Steven Martin Vallevand was born February 16, 1952 to Carl R. and Marian S. (Nelson) Vallevand in Fergus Falls. He attended Roosevelt High School in Fergus Falls, graduating in 1970. He was a member of the United States Army from 1971 to 1973, serving in Vietnam as a Crew Chief. Steven was employed by the State of Minnesota at the RTC.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. Steven was also a member of the VFW. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, guns, and going to the casino.
Preceding him in death were his parents; several aunts and uncles, and sister-in-law, Connie Vallevand.
Steven is survived by his children, Steven, Matthew and Christopher; grandchildren, Kaiden, Tristan, and Izabell Vallevand, and brother Wayne C. Vallevand.
A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
