Steven L. Tippett, 69, of Rushville, passed away surrounded by family at his home on November 1, 2025. He was born to the late Lester and Ruby Tippett in Columbus, OH on December 5, 1955.
Steven was a Bloom Carroll High School graduate of 1974. After school he worked for several years driving truck. He enjoyed dirt track racecar driving and playing drums in several bands. Above all, he was a very loving husband and father, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Tippett; children, Cari (Travis) Moriarty, Chasity (Jeffrey) Gillies, Shawn (Christina) Tippett, and Cord Tippett; grandchildren, Brianna, Aiden, Williem, Robbert, Ava and Ryan; siblings, Bev (Kirk), Jeff and Terry (Taffy); and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Rodney; step-sister, Margaret; and parents.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Rushville Lions Club, 2960 Logan Thornville rd. NE Rushville, OH 43150 at 5:30 PM.
