The Life & Legacy of Steven D. Warner
Steven (Steve) Dwight Warner, affectionately known as "Hon," "Stevie," "Big Steve," "Neph-Son," "Big Worm," and "Noodles" passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, just shy of his 56th birthday. He was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania on January 19, 1970 to the late Michael Jackson, Sr. and Vanessa Warner. Steve attended public schools in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania and graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1989. After high school, where he was a basketball star, Steve pursued higher education and basketball at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland before joining the military.
Steve voluntarily enlisted to serve our country via the United States Army and Army Reserves. While on active duty, he spent several months in harm's way serving in both the Gulf War and the post-9/11 response. Steve's outstanding dedication and meritorious service to the United States Army earned him The Army Achievement Medal.
On January 29, 2000, Steve married Kimberly Lynn Williams. From this union, two wonderful children, Steven and Sanaya, were born. Wanting to be the best husband and father possible, Steve performed many jobs, ultimately landing a position in security at Camden High School. As an officer, he gained the respect of all of the students, staff, and the other officers. However, in 2008, a debilitating military service-related injury manifested and ended his career.
Over the years, Steve never allowed his disability to slow him down. He obtained his Associate's Degree from Rowan College at Burlington County while his kids looked on in admiration, unofficially co-coached Sanaya's various basketball teams, continued to be a loving husband to Kimberly, and maintained his many friendships. He had a passion for shopping, cooking, music, reading, and could always be found in his mobile office, "his car." The man knew everyone! Wherever Steve went, there was someone he knew or who knew him or was a new-found relative. Steve was the true definition of Mr. Congeniality. His booming voice was authoritative, but his laughter was infectious.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Jackson, Sr. and Vanessa Warner; his paternal grandparents, Edward "Old Pop" and Mary Ellen Jackson and his maternal grandparents, William "Bill" and Martha Warner; and his brother, Derrick Adams. Steve leaves a rich legacy of loved ones to cherish his memory: His loving wife, Kimberly Warner; his devoted children, Steven Anthony Warner, Sanaya Essence Warner, Jasmin Denise Warner and Jonathon Cloyd; his sister, Joye Jackson; his brothers, Michael "Mickey" Jackson (Amye) and Jerry Riddick; his adorable grandchildren, Carter and Lincoln Cloyd; his parents in-law, Tony and Lynn Williams; his aunts, Donna Bolden (Marcus) and Dorenda Dixon; and a host of relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Steve's viewing on Monday, January 12th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt. 73 S. Marlton, NJ., where a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM. Final disposition will be private.
